Anita Briem, an Icelandic actor, is a household name. Most famous for her role as Jane Seymour , the young woman who is destined to be his third bride Henry VIII in the series on television The Tudors and for her part as Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . The acting career of Briem began with the National Theater Iceland when she was just nine years old. The actress was a young actor in Iceland performing in the stage and on television. Briem, then 16, was a teenager when she moved to London and performed in The production Lenin In Love in The New End Theater. Briem who was then 19 was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied for three consecutive years. Briem earned her degree in Drama. She also received the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. While at RADA he participated in several productions, such as The Cherry Garden by Anton Chekhov and Bernarda Alba's residence from Federico Garcia Lorca . Br
